Meet the Competitors: Lyndsay Harper

Lyndsay Harper is coming to us from the left coast, although she went to college a few hours from Raleigh in Charlottesville, and her brother Cody ran at UNC. She just ran the 2014 US Championships in the 800 and brings PR’s of 2:03, 4:18 in the 1500 and 4:46 in the road mile.

5 Things About Me: Lyndsay Harper

1. I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico, so by birth right I’m allowed to be overly enthusiastic about Mexican food.

2. I now live in Berkeley, California where I train with the Bay Area Track Club. I went to college on the east coast at the University of Virginia. I’m geographically promiscuous.

3. I ran in the 2012 US Olympic Trials in the 800, after qualifying to the meet with a PR of 2:03.16.

5. I studied Studio Art and Architecture while at UVA, and now work part time for a Bay Area photography company while pursuing my dreams as a runner.

6. My beer mile PR is 7:29. I can do better. #dreambig
