Meet the Competitors: Isaac Presson

Isaac Presson | @IsaacPresson | Men’s Mile

Isaac was a crucial part of the revival of the Men’s Distance Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill over the past four years. In his time at UNC, he won individual ACC titles in the Indoor Mile and the Indoor 3000 meters. He ran a personal best in the mile of 3:58.67 at the Music City Distance Carnival in 2013.

1. I consider my greatest athletic accomplishment getting a hole in one in disk golf

2. I graduated from the Kenan-Flagler business school at UNC with an emphasis in entrepreneurship

3. Career aspirations include winning the Asheville’s Finest Fantasy Football League and hiking the Pacific Crest Trail

4. One of my greatest moments from my childhood is watching the UNC Men’s Basketball Team win the 2005 NCAA tournament

5. My greatest running moment was breaking the 4 minute barrier in the mile at the Music City Distance Carnival with my dad in attendance
