5 Things About Me: John Reniewicki
- I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona. My mother, mostly retired, was a CPA. My father, very much retired, taught high school physics and coached with most of his career spent at Arcadia High School. He luckily gave me a passing grade for physics.
- I love hiking and camping. As well as pretty much anything outdoors. Spent a lot of time backpacking in the Grand Canyon growing up.
- I’m from a big family, middle child of five. All pretty interested in sports, mostly soccer and track. My younger sister and I ran at Arizona State together, and my younger brother is about to start his freshman season at Ohio State on the swim team.
- In my last few years of college I spent the summers working as a volunteer firefighter in Happy Jack, Arizona.
- After college I lived in Boulder for a year before moving to Baltimore to join Under Armour’s distance group there coached by Cory Leslie.
