I have a twin brother named Azariah and an older sister named Holly.
I did dance for 13 years. I did ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop until my Sophomore year of high school. I had to decide between dance and running and so I chose running.
I am half Chinese and I studied Chinese for 11 years. My mother is from Beijing, China. And I lived in China one summer for an internship during my Junior year at Butler University.
When I first started to run, I joined my track and field team in 6th grade and I wanted to do shot put. I learned quickly that the shot put wasn’t my event. I then decided on the 100 hurdles and even did the high jump. I later on found that distance running was what I was best at.
My favorite running partner is my Australian Shepard Mix named Juni.
