5 Things About Me: Christina Aragon
- I have two sisters who are/were also runners! You may know my sister Dani from her time with the Puma Elite group in NC, and my sister Alexa ran the steeplechase for Notre Dame and is now getting into the trail running scene!
- I studied Human Biology in college. After my running career, I hope to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner or an occupational therapist.
- I love pastries, especially croissants! Would love to hear what’s going on in Raleigh’s pastry scene.
- I grew my first ever little garden this year! I have a completely random collection that includes cucumbers, strawberries, and lavender!
- This is my 4th time at Sir Walter Miler!! I love the family feel of the meet and the excitement that everyone brings to the track! Can’t wait for the 2026 edition!

- What is a movie or show you have seen lately that others should tune into? I’ve been watching a show called Heartstopper. It is a slightly corny coming of age show, but it has been so cute and heartwarming with easy to watch episodes. I’ve been loving it so far.
- What is a book or podcast that is worth checking out? I really enjoyed Molly Seidel’s episode on the Mentor Buffet podcast this past March – Molly Seidel: How to be there for yourself
- What is your “Song of the Summer?” Stupid Song from Olivia Rodrigo’s new album
- When you’re not training, what’s one of your favorite activities? When not training, I love spending time on the river. I like to float the Willamette in Eugene, or raft and fly fish the Yellowstone and Stillwater rivers when I’m back in Montana! During Eugene’s rainy winters, I like to go country dancing with my friends :)
- Do you have any connections to Raleigh and/or North Carolina? I have many friends in the area, as multiple Stanford and BTC connections have found their way out to Raleigh!
