Jack Bolas is a well known name around the Triangle, as he was a multiple time state champion while attending Chapel Hill High. He also was the first person to ever run a sub 4:00 mile in the state of Alaska!

5 Things About Me: Jack Bolas

1. I’m a diehard UNC Tar Heel basketball fan.
2. Sandy Roberts and I were high school running nemeses, trading off state championships for several years.
3. I ran Cross Country and Track at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Go Badgers!
4. My current part-time job is tutoring high school math and science.
5. This could very well be my final race as a professional on North Carolina soil. Hope it’s a good one!
