I was born and lived in Barcelona, Spain for 17 years
While in College, at Virginia Tech, I was the XC/TF team barber!
My wife, Ashley, is from North Carolina, so it will be fun to race at the best competition in the state of NC!
Catan is my favorite board game. I can play Catan for hours…
I like making spreadsheets for anything. Ask me about how I color code them, I’m very proud of them.

Do you have any superstitions/pre-race rituals? Yes, I take a hot shower to warm up my body and I eat a banana an hour and a half before the race.
What’s your favorite sport (or athlete) to watch, besides running? Since I am from Spain, I like watching soccer once in a while. I am a fan of both the Spanish soccer team and FCBarcelona soccer club. Fun Fact is that I used to run for the FCBarcelona track club. I also like watching F1. I like to watch the F1 driver Fernando Alonso.
What’s a show or movie you’ve seen lately that’s worth watching? Lately I have watched V for Vengeance, and Schindler’s List for the first time. They were great movies. Before the race, I will most likely have watched Oppenheimer and the Barbie movie, I hope they are great!
What’s a song or podcast that’s currently on your playlist? Recently I have added a few songs to my playlist including Rara Vez by Milo J and Cuando Me Ves by Dani Ribba.
Do you have any connections to Raleigh or North Carolina? My wife, Ashley, was born and grew up in North Carolina. I have not lived in North Carolina, but have come down from Virginia to race in North Carolina for the past 5 years.
