I ran for the University of New Mexico for 2 years as a graduate student and for Edinboro University of PA for 4 years as an undergrad. Edinboro is one of the snowiest places in the US and Albuquerque is one of the sunniest places in the US, which made for 2 very different training environments (I loved both though!)
I recently moved to Hershey, PA, the sweetest place on earth
I am Canadian and played hockey for 9 years before I started running in high school
I got married about a month ago to my husband who was also on the cross country team at Edinboro
I was the first person in my family to compete on a team in college

Do you have any superstitions/pre-race rituals? I will never wear matching socks to race
What’s your favorite sport (or athlete) to watch, besides running? Hockey and the Toronto Maple Leafs (although it’s much harder to follow when in the US compared to Canada)
What’s a show or movie you’ve seen lately that’s worth watching? I have been watching the Tour de France/ Tour femmes which has been fun to learn about
What’s a song or podcast that’s currently on your playlist? A lot of Taylor Swift recently
Do you have any connections to Raleigh or North Carolina? No connections but I’m looking forward to visiting Raleigh for the first time!
