Some facts from the 2024 Sir Walter Miler:

• The Top 6 Women ran the Top 6 Outdoor Mile times in the World this year
• Dorcus Ewoi (4:19.71), plus Sage Hurta-Klecker (4:19.89) and Heather MacLean (4:20.41) broke Nikki Hiltz’s previous meet record (4:21.89)
• Hurta-Klecker ran the #7 US Mile All-Time and MacLean was #9
• 6 Women broke the 4:30 barrier, with Ewoi and Christina Aragon doing it for the first time
• The 4:30 barrier has now been broken 40 times by Women at the Sir Walter Miler
• Waleed Suliman (3:51.89) broke Yared Nuguse’s (3:53.34) previous meet record
• Festus Lagat (3:52.63), Sam Gilman (3:52.81), and Sean McGorty (3:53.00) also dipped under the mark
• 11 Men ran under 4:00, bringing the total to 86 sub-4:00 performances at the Sir Walter Miler
